Hi Everybody,

I have created a certificate using Java keytool utility, that is self-issued and self-signed with the extension *.cer.

I have imported that certificate using windows certmgr.exe tool to the windows stores, both Personal and Trusted Root Certification Authorities.

I want to use it with the MS Outlook, but when I go to the Outlook Options/Trust Center/Trust Center Settings/E-mail Security/Settings/Choose I cant see my certificate why what am I doing wrong?.

You need to purchase a certificate from a trusted vendor. Self-created certificates cannot be verified.
